Our House
We moved to our home in January 2020, right before the pandemic hit and we are so glad we did! Some of our favorite parts of our house are, our backyard patio and fire pit (you can find us outside almost every night in the spring and summer), our own offices that we are blessed enough to be able to work from since we work from home, and the living room where we love to all snuggle up on the human-sized dog beds we have, and watch our current favorite show or movie! This year we're also trying a new adventure and adding vegetable and flower gardens to our back-yard!
We are also excited to add the sweetest, calmest, nursery right next to our room for this new little one.

Our Neighborhood and Community
We have a great community of people in our neighborhood. We have friends from the ward (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) that we love seeing and spending time with, kind neighbors that look out for each other, and even a Santa parade every December that runs right past our house. (We love Christmas so that part is extra fun!)
We also live within walking distance to a park, the library, the elementary school, and a hospital.
Our Day-to-Day

Both of our jobs, thankfully allow for us to be home often! Daisha works from home most days and John works from home two days a week. We both work for the same company (but on different projects) and our office is about 15 minutes from our house.
After work we usually go for a walk, spend time in our hobbies, and then eat dinner together. We love spending our nights outside when the weather is good. We play games and watch movies and have fires in our backyard, and enjoy talking, catching up on the day and planning our next adventure.
We love learning new things and are both trying to learn French right now. Daisha is also learning how to make Sourdough and how to play Mahjong. John spends his free time reading about art, history, music, and cultural events!
We are ready for the change that a little one will bring to this day-to-day and we know that the days will get even brighter bringing a baby into our family.
