We truly have one of the best circles of people around us. We live close to most of our family and have a great village of people in our corner. We believe in being very intentional about those we spend time with and those we have in our lives.
John's parents live about five minutes away from us and we see them often and talk to them weekly.
John's parents are Nana and Papa to our nieces and nephews on John's side (16 in total, and 2 that are also adopted!). John has four siblings that all live in Utah as well and we feel so lucky to have them close by.
Daisha's mom lives about 15 minutes away and we talk to her almost daily (Daisha is a big fan of FaceTiming her mom.) Daisha is an only child, but has lots of close friends with young kids of their own that she considers to be just as good as siblings. Daisha has a huge extended family and is very close to her cousins and aunts, and sees them often as well.
Our friends are some of the kindest, funnest, most caring individuals we could ever ask for. We have known some of them since early elementary school! Lots of our friends have small kids that we are excited to introduce to our child one day.
Our friends and family are supportive, kind, loving, empathetic, responsible, and understanding individuals who hold lots of the same values we do. We are so excited to be able to add even more love to our circle through the adoption process.
